My perscription was not very high -2 and -2.5 but I wanted to do the treatement to make my life easier. Travelling all the time and going out was often uncomfortable due to the contact lenses. I had the surgery in October 2004 and everything has been perfect so far.
During the consultation I was told everything I needed to know so when the time came for the operation I felt confident that all will be fine. I have to admit that the first 4 hours after the surgery I got a bit scared because my eyes were so watery and the stinging didn't let me relax.After the first night however everything was even smoother. I trying to be careful when I was out the first couple of days so that nothing would get in my eyes.
I have not heard any problems so far apart from some dryiness but I had that problem before the surgery so that is not something new to me.
I was very happy with the staff and I really felt that they cared. I still feel that I would be welcome to call them with any questions I might have.
I don't regret going ahead with my laser treatement at all! My life is much simpler now.I would recommend Accuvision to my friends and this of course is from my personal experience.
