During my 4 years of research I attended consultation sessions at all the advertised 'Eye Laser clinics' in London. None of them gave me the confidence to go for the treatment. One clinic told me that I need to decide on the kind of treatment I would like to have?! Another clinic asked for an approval letter from a Consultant?! One clinic provided the most daunting first consultation, it took several hours to complete and involved having to wait in different waiting rooms for long periods before each eye test. One Optician shouted at me for asking too many questions!
