I wish i had done this years ago. I did tons of research before having the treatment and in the end it was someone telling me 'it's become such a standard procedure now hasnt it?' and i thought - you know what they're right- and went for it. I've gone from a -7.5 to having better than 20/20 vision- unbelievable. I went for the accuvision clinics because a friend recommended them and i couldn't have had a better experience. I can confirm the procedure doesn't hurt and though the 24hrs afterwards are uncomfortable (feels a bit like when you've got an eyelash stuck in your eye- apart from more like there being 20 of them- and you arent allowed to rub them to stop it) your vision clears up over a week and after two it's fantastic. There are risks but they aren't high if you look after your eyes carefully for the first week. If you're thinking about it i say do it!
