I had surgery just before Christmas and to say I was nervous is a big understatement! I had a large perscription (-7.0 in the left eye & -8.0 in the right), plus a minor astigmatism in both (which my normal optician had never previously noticed!). I would never have dared to go for surgery if it wasn't for the new wavefront guided technology, which gave me the reassurance that the surgery was more likely to be successful, as the lasers are programmed to account for individual differences in the eye and are not just standard for everyone. I can't praise the staff enough - they were fully informative about the procedure and the results I could expect, and were very friendly and reassuring - especially with a wimp like me! I now have 20/20 vision and the only problem I've encountered so far is getting used to not wearing glasses or contacts! I have so much confidence in the staff and technology that I would recommend Accuvision to everyone - in fact my Sister is having a consultation this week!
