A friend of mine recommended AccuVision Fulham branch to me and I am very happy I got over my fears and had the surgery. I had the initial consultation and surgery on the same day. A bit risky I know but not living in London was a factor and I had already decided to have it done if possible.

I was told with my high prescription (over -10 in both eyes with astigmatism) and a thinner than normal cornea, I was a borderline case with higher risks. There was no guarantee that they could completely correct my eyes and it was possible that I would still need to wear glasses afterwards. Two months after my surgery, I now have 20/20 vision!

Having worn glasses since I was 10, I'm still getting used to not having them on, but it's great being able to wake up in the middle of the night and read the clock!
