For the 12 hours after the Op it was difficult to open my eyes, even for the soothing drops - not painful, but uncomfortable like grit in the eye! Following the check up the next day I could open my eyes although vision was blurry. On the morning of day 3 my long distance vision was better than it had been with lenses! I was back at work only 4 days after the operation and although the vision is variable, as expected for the first couple of weeks, I really enjoy my new freedom from glasses.
