I had both my eyes lasered about 6 years ago with Accuvision. My prescription was -6.5 for both eyes. The service I received at Accuvision was incomparable. I had a thorough eye examination and the procedure was thoroughly explained to me. There was no hard sell at all, in fact they even encouraged me to go away and think about the operation before making a decision. On the day I was made to feel very special by all involved in my procedure especially as I was very scared, but the procedure was very quick and they talked to me all the way through the operation so I was aware of exactly what was going on. I had to go back the following day, then 1 week later then 1 month and then 6 months. Every time I returned I was greeted by name and seen by the same people. My Mum, who is long sighted, and had accompanied me throughout my procedure had her eyes lastered 2 years later, and when I went with her they recognised me! Since then my sister-in-law, step dad and my husband have had their eyes done at Accuvision. I can't recommend them highly enough. My Husband had his eyes done this week - a total success - he wishes now he had had his done a few years ago. The price I paid has come down considerably and my husband paid £1250 per eye.
