I spent two years deliberating whether to have surgery or not and finally decided to go for it. Had the surgery 2nd November with Mr Rostron, prescription was -7.5 and -8.0.

Surgery went well, slight stinging and grittiness for a few hours after surgery, but the drops relieved that. Had the checkup the next morning and both eyes were healing faster than expected. Had my one week check yesterday and I'm continuing to improve: 20/20 vision and that was on a bad eye day! Left eye is healing a little slower than right, but is getting there gradually. Getting halos and starbursts at night but was told that would clear up in a few weeks.

Overall I can't believe how good my vision is! I would say I wish I'd had it years ago, but actually I'm glad I didn't. The technology has improved over the last few years so I'm glad I waited - I just wish I was younger!
