I wore glasses and contact lenses for 20 years and from having -5 sight I now I have 20:20. Its unbelievable. I had the treatment just over 3 months ago and I still haven't got used to not needing my glasses as soon as I wake up! It is incredible being able to see without aid. I am so happy. It is a life changing experience. I am a teacher of small children and it has made life easier at school, I don't have issues with my contacts or have my glasses sliding down my nose at unhelpful moments. I was incredibly nervous of the procedure even though I was told everything that would happen. I had the surgery where they cut the flap (which freaks everyone out) but infact was fine. On the day of surgery it all happened so fast. I was in and out so quickly. The team were so professional and I felt safe all the time. There was no pain, just discomfort for the first few days. Thank you everyone at Accuvision London. You have changed my life and I am still astounded. I can not believe the clarity some days!
