Dr K Jain, is the Medical Director and Chief Surgeon at Lumivision Laser Eye Clinic.
Having performed more than 10,000 Laser Eye surgery procedures in UK and Ireland, Dr Jain is a highly trained and experienced Consultant Refractive Laser Eye Surgeon. Dr Jain has certification in Laser Refractive Surgery from Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He has treated thousands of laser eye patients in Dublin City in Ireland since April 2004.
Dr Jain is trained and qualified in the use of VISX™
starS3/S4/IR/Wavefront /intralase/Moria M2 technology and is on the specialist register with license to practice both in UK and Ireland.
Dr Jain served many countries including Republic of Ireland, Canada, United Kingdom and India, during his 25 years of experience in ophthalmology. He has had ten of his research papers published in various journals (peer review) of Ophthalmology both in the UK and USA and has full registration status with the General Medical Council in UK and Ireland.
Dr Jain worked as a Consultant Eye Surgeon in UK in various NHS Hospitals during 1995-2000 when he left the UK and undertook a Vitreo-retinal Surgical Fellowship at the University of Toronto in Canada. Dr Jain gained Cataract and refractive surgery experience from world famous and highly renowned Gimble Eye Centre in Calgary, Canada in 1998.
To enhance his experience in refractive surgery he obtained a fellowship in Lasik Refractive Surgery from Bogotá, Colombia; the, birthplace of refractive surgery. He assisted refractive surgery at the world’s leading Lasik Surgery clinic; Barraquer Eye Institute. He has been a completely dedicated refractive eye surgeon for the past 9 years.
