Behrooz Golchin qualified in medicine at Trinity College, Dublin and trained in ophthalmology in Belfast, Northern Ireland and London. He also spent one year in Sydney, Australia, gaining fellowship training in cornea and anterior segment and refractive surgery.

Mr Golchin is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and has extensive experience in phacoemulsification small incision cataract surgery with foldable intraocular lenses and corneal transplant. He has trained in LASIK and Excimer laser laser surgery and is a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
