Brendan Lacey trained in Belfast and has worked in Belfast, Northern Ireland and Canada. He is currently Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Mater Hospital in Belfast.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and has extensive experience in phacoemulsification small incision microsurgery with foldable intraocular lenses. During his year in Vancouver, Canada, Mr Lacey gained his Fellowship training in Oculoplastic Orbital surgery.
He has trained in LASIK and Excimer laser surgery and is a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
