    Consultation was helpful and informative. The drama of a faulty laser on the day of the operation was quickly and efficiently dealt with by arrangements made for a trip to Bristol being made. The results are better then I expected with 20/20 vision and then some. If you can, then just do it. You won’t even want to remember the hassle of glasses and lenses!  More...

    went for consultation at all of the main providers and all gave conflicting information. I then went to Ultralase Newcastle where I was given a full and informative consultation where both the optom and sales man knew exactly what they were talking about. Staff were friendly from the outset and made my self and my wife feel very welcome. To me it was no contest about going to Ultralase. The service that was provided were second to none. Even afterwards the young man Carl came to find me when I was in for a follow up to ask how I had got on. Fantastic.  More...

    At the Ultralase consultation both the optician and the sales girl were very knowledgeable and I was impressed with the fact Ultralase had the cutting edge technology to offer "Ultra" treatment which gives you very sharp peripheral vision. I decided just to go for wavefront (which corrects an 8.5mm diameter area for good night vision) because the "Ultra" treatment was £600 more. I was also had a history of problems with anaesthetic and Ultralase were happy to talk about different options although it turned out the normal local anaesthetic was fine.     I was very nervous about the whole idea of laser treatment. The nurse was fantastic and even held my hand when the treatment was taking place. Swimming is now a joy as I can see where I am going!!! And no more contact lenses / itchy eyes when I am on holidays.  More...
