I attended bilaterial LASIK eye surgery at the Harley Street Laser Eye Clinic on 3rd October, to correct my short-sightedness. What made me book up there was the fact that the initial consultation had been a reassuring experience, I felt that I could entrust my eyes to the surgeon and also I was well looked after by the staff there. I was very happy with the initial consultation procedure. It was very quick, the surgery was explained in detail and I was very much put at ease. The staff were both courteous and helpfull and I felt happy to proceed with paying my deposit on that very day. The clinic itself is easy to find, very comfortable and has a homely environment unlike most hospitals you visit. I found the staff very reassuring before my surgery. The procedure itself was not as traumatic as I had expected it to be. It was over very quickly. As a model I realise that your eyes really are 'the windows to your soul', which is why I wanted to get rid of my lenses and glasses. I found the staff at the Harley Street Laser Eye Clinic to be very helpful and reassuring. They answered all queries I had about the procedures they offer and I felt happy that I was in very safe hands. The consultation was very thorough I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet my surgeon and to discuss my surgery with him. I attended the Harley Street Laser Eye Clinic on the 19th August 2002 for treatment and I am with the result. My sight is just amazing!! I particularly wish to thank all the staff who did so much to reassure me. Although I had made my mind up to have the treatment, I had the usual anxiety but everybody was so pleasant and caring from the moment I made the initial phone call. I had my surgery done last Monday (19Aug) and within 24 hours could not believe the difference in my sight. Everyone I met at Harley St. Laster Eye Clinic made me feel at ease right from the start, answering all my questions and dealing with my concerns.
